| Sound Design: | I enjoy designing sounds for various media forms but mostly for Computer Games and Interactive Application. Sound Design is the art and process of creating and manipulating audio elements to achieve a desired effect. It is employed and it covers all non-compositional elements in a variety of disciplines including film, theatre, music recording, live music performance, computer game software development, mobile devices and web development. Sound Design is a technical/conceptually creative field that was always interested me. From the initial development of the Game’s Sound Concept, the research and design of the Audio Engine, through the Development of the final Sound Content and the In-Game Mixing and from the Post Production of the final product the the re-usability of the Content created, I consider the art and the science of Game Sound Design to be one of my top practices. I can provide content for any project, from the smallest iPhone or Flash Game and up to the modern Full-Scale productions that push the envelope of Game Development. Being capable of using the best audio pipeline solutions for game sound in the world like Fmod and Wwise together with personal tools that I created over the years of experience in Game Audio, but also easy to adopt in-house developed tools and practices I can blend with any production and art team. Finally, by using not only one of the largest and best Fully Licensed Sound Effect Libraries collection in the country, but also personal On-Location Recordings and Sound Synthesis or Manipulation, I can ensure that the final result will be your big smile. |
| Music Composition: | From my early years I was intrigued from the magical way that great music composers where passing their emotions to me. I was always interested on creating a solid bridge with my music that will carry the message across to the listener. I enjoy writing and performing music for any project, be it a film soundtrack, a video game adaptive score or just my band’s music. I’m also excited using the newest trends in music composing, like the adaptive music playback practices used in games and interactive media. Modern recording and producing techniques allow me to create versatile content that will fit any visual media project within budget and time barriers. By using a modern and constantly updated arsenal of Sample Libraries from the best creators in the business fused with live performance from me and other musicians, I can create music that fits any given genre and still preserve the quality and integrity needed for a project to stay on top of the competition. |
| Audio Engineering: | Audio Engineering is a part of audio science dealing with the recording and reproduction of sound through mechanical and electronic means. The field draws on many disciplines, including electrical engineering, acoustics, psychoacoustics, and music. As an audio engineer I’m often closer to the creative and technical aspects of audio rather than formal engineering, always interested in the art and the science of this practice. The delicate nature of Music and Sound Production makes the use of Audio Engineering a mandatory need, with this in mind and the education I have on the field, I can say that if my heart is a Musician, then my mind is an Audio Engineer. I usually use my knowledge to serve the practices of Sound Design and Music Creation, but given the project type I’m always interested on using my skills and knowledge on a variety of applications, from Live Sound to Studio Installations and from Specialized Sound Applications to Acoustic Designs. There is no limit to where Audio Engineering can be used, from projects that incorporate sound and music creation to applications that need silence. |
| Music Production: | In the Music Industry, a Music Producer or Record Producer has many roles, among them controlling the recording sessions, coaching and guiding the musicians, organizing and scheduling production budget and resources, and supervising the recording, mixing and mastering processes. This has been a major function of Producers since the inception of sound recording. The Music Producer could, in some cases, be compared to the film director in that the producer’s job is to create, shape and mold a piece of music in accordance with their vision for the album. Unlike in film, the Music Producer is seldom responsible for controlling the funds to create the recording – more like the film director, the Record Producer is hired usually by those who have already obtained funding (typically record or publishing companies, though occasionally the artists themselves) to act as a consultant over the creative path used to mold the artistic vision, giving knowledge and guidance to the artists on how to reach their goals and audience and successfully deliver not only the product but the artistic message also. |
